Job Description

Salary: Up to £27,000

At Daisy the role of the mobile Handyperson is to be a first line response for all building faults within their capability and competence, to carry minor maintenance and repair as directed. Travel to our Daisy sites will be required and focused within the South East. Additionally this role includes a company vehicle for such travel. To escort contractors and be a Facilities representative on site. To complete all works in a timely manor closing out all jobs on the CAFM (Tabs) system. 

  • To ensure the gullies, drains etc are kept free from debris and the site grounds are litter free.
  • To dispose of waste materials in a safe, hygienic manner ensuring that it available for collection as required.
  • Joinery – First line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, door and window furniture and minor repairs.
  • Plumbing – To be aware of all water isolation points within a building and ensure they are all accessible and serviceable reporting back to the FM when any fail or become unserviceable.
  • Plumbing – Unblocking of sinks, toilets, urinals, waste pipes etc.
  • Electrical To replace where necessary minor parts including, but not limited to, tubes, bulbs, starters, diffusers and plug top fuses in accordance with safe working practices.
  • Where a vehicle is provided to carry out duties you are to record daily and weekly checks to ensure no damage has been caused and it is safe to use, reporting any problems to the Fleet Dept.

    Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving License with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • DIY Plumbing Skills
  • DIY Electrical Knowledge (Change light bulbs and replace plug top fuses etc.)
  • DIY Joinery Skills
  • DIY Painting and Decorating Skills
  • Computer literate
  • Physically Fit
