Main duties of the job

To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Clinical Governance team. Most of this information/ correspondence is sensitive and must be dealt with ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times including:

  • Word processing typing of general and confidential correspondence and reports
  • Data input using spreadsheets
  • Arranging meetings, including minuting of the same and chasing action as required
  • Diary management for the Clinical Governance Team
  • Internet use for information, document retrieval and on-line bookings for courses and accommodation
  • Photocopying and distribution
  • Shredding, filing and management of confidential personal and employment case files
  • Collection and distribution of medical records 
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
