Main duties of the job

To ensure the co-ordination of admissions, transfers and discharges for all patients across 
acute Site.
To Ensure Prioritisation of emergency admissions via Emergency Department to maintain 
4hr Access Standard is achieved and maintained in line with national targets.
To ensure safe repatriation of patients from other hospital and overseas, following 
agreed protocols in line with Trust policies. 
To ensure critical care stepdown patients are transferred from level 2/3 care in line 
with agreed protocols and target times.
To work with band 7 Clinical site managers (CSMs) supporting 24/7 clinical site 
management in liaison with Management Teams, and deputise in their absence.
To provide clear focus for clinical leadership and to provide clinical and professional 
advice and guidance to staff as required.
To promote and facilitate the implementation of Trust Core Values and objectives
To be accountable for the co-ordination of care, use of resources and performance 
of staff.
To ensure data collection to support accurate reporting, for audit trails thereby ensuring 
effective utilisation of resources and relevant data quality standards are maintained in line 
with Organisational requirements.
Responsible for cascading and escalating when required performance and 
operational metrics.
To ensure early escalation of any issues that would impede flow, affect quality,
