Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity to work as part of the Patient Safety and Experience Department, the post holder role will be vital to improving the quality of our patients, and carer experience at BCU HB and will support the management of highly complex, sensitive programmes of work.

Working closely with the Operational Complaints Lead with networking across the organisation with Nursing and Medical Directors, Assistant Directors, Clinical Directors, Service Leads, Service Managers and Lead Clinicians, the post holder will play a key role in the delivery and development of programmes related to capturing, measuring and improving patient safety and patient experience across BCU HB. This includes oversight of work related to deliver the patient safety and experience strategies. The post holder will work closely with the Operational Lead to ensure supporting the design and delivery of the patient and carer experience strategic improvement plan to deliver improvement and transformation projects related to patient safety and patient experience across BCU HB. 

The post holder is expected to deputise for the Operational Complaints Lead. They will support the Operational Complaints Lead in running their department as business and performance manager.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
