We are looking for an innovative and inspiring Programme Manager to join our team at RHACC

RHACC currently has an exciting opening for an innovative Programme Manager to join our Art & Community Learning management team. Reporting to the Director of Community Learning you will have the opportunity to develop this growing area within the college.

About the role:

As Programme Manager you will:

  • Be working from high-quality art studios and facilities while developing an engaging curriculum offer which meets the needs and interests of our adult learning communities.
  • Engage closely with your team and use your leadership skills to line manage both established and variable-hours teachers delivering accredited and non-accredited Art, Design and Craft provision for adults from complete beginners to more advanced artists who may wish to sell their work.
  • Strive to achieve high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and high levels of customer satisfaction while working as part of the management team.
  • Ensure that quality targets are achieved, and that the curriculum is delivered as efficiently as possible. 
  • Teach an agreed number of hours annually and provide a role model of teaching excellence.
  • About you

    You will have:

  • A degree or equivalent in an Arts subject
  • A full teaching qualification (or if part-qualified, willingness to achieve a full teaching qualification within a specified timeframe)
  • Experience of teaching Art and Design or Craft
  • English and Maths minimum Level 2 qualifications

    About the College:

    We welcome over 7,000-learners through the doors of our two campuses each year. Our learners reflect our community, coming from all abilities, backgrounds and ages. Our curriculum is equally diverse – we offer over 2,000-courses of excellent quality across multiple disciplines.
