Main duties of the job

To act as the data administrator for the Orthopaedic Department based at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). This will include registering all elective adult orthopaedic patients onto the National PROMs system and local data records, supporting them to complete questionnaires and most importantly to ensure long-term follow-up questionnaires are completed on time.

The postholder will source and provide information when required, to include report collation and analysis in line with local and national reporting mechanisms for the service

When necessary, you will be required to liaise with medical, managerial and nursing staff within the service to provide accurate and relevant data.

Working as part of the team the postholder will be the first point of contact for PROMs; this may extend to other internal and external stakeholders.

  • NVQ 3 in Administration/RSA III or equivalent level of knowledge/experience.
  • Knowledge of the NHS.
