Project Manager (Procurement Process Implementation Management, COTS) Highly attractive market rate, inside IR35, 17 month contract.

Work can be carried out remotely, with ad-hoc meetings taking place in Birmingham/London offices.

Our client is moving into the Beta phase of a project and they require a Project Manager who has experience of managing commercial evaluation exercises for high value COTS technology solutions (5-20million).

As the Project Manager, you will be overseeing and managing the implementation of procurement process and data cleansing activity for an existing case management system.

Working alongside the Business Analyst, you will plan and monitor production requirements, work with internal Technical and Commercial teams to engage with appropriate suppliers to obtain time and cost estimates for delivering and integrating the new or amended finance system functionality.

As the Project Manager, you will also work with the Commercial Team to plan and prepare PIN (Prior Information Notice) documentation to market test availability for suitable commercial off the shelf (COTS) solutions for transaction processing and case management, and manage supplier event and system demonstrations.

Additionally, you will produce evaluation/analysis methodology and documentation for the above, including weekly reports on progress.

Essential skills, experience and capabilities:

– Project Management experience with the ability to implement and lead procurement as a Project Manager (not a commercial lead).

– Experience of working on projects that involve high value technology/COTS solutions

– 3rd Party Supplier engagement and management capabilities

– Strong documentation, evaluation, reporting skills
