The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with an interest in health and social care, to cover the secondment of our Health and Wellbeing Board Manager. This role supports the effective operations of the established Health and Wellbeing Boards in Richmond and Wandsworth, and coordinate system working across the partnerships. It also contributes to key documents such as the Boards Strategy, plan, and development programme. Given the wider changes in both health and care this is an exciting time to be involved with the work of the Health and wellbeing Board and an opportunity to shape the Boards functioning for the future.

The role requires skill in influencing, managing and coordinating the effective delivery of a strategic partnership Board. It requires the ability to build effective working relationships and to influence and support elected Members and Senior Officers across all partner organisations. A sound knowledge of existing policies and key issues affecting Adult Social Care and Public Health is essential as is the ability to draft policy documents, research and analyse information and support partners in developing key strategies and plan. Substantial experience of working in a partnership, collaborating in preparing documents and of working with elected members, senior officers and stakeholders, is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to use Information Technology is essential.

This is a full-time post for 36 hours per week. It involves some work outside of normal work hours
