We are recruiting for amazing full time and part time Support Workers in Totton. The 5 people we support live in their own bungalow and have varying needs and range in ages 24 to 75 – learning disabilities, hard of hearing, dementia, epilepsy and mobility support is required. During the day, they enjoy going to church, local beach and New Forest. There is a house vehicle we use to support activities.
If you have worked with people of advancing years or if you have experience of working with younger people previously this could be the job for you?
Earn up to salary of £24,.48 per annum (based on full time, hours overtime and a sleep in per week).
The role will involve:
You will be building relationships and encouraging people to be active participants in everything that is happening in their day
Supporting people to have meaningful engagement in their activities
Empowering people to be the best they want to be
Provide personal care and administer medication
Conduct housework, including cleaning and laundry
You will keep records, using IT systems as required
Updating support plans, incident logs and health and safety checks
