Main duties of the job

As an community occupational therapy assistant practitioner, you will be predominantly working with patients in their own homes to increase their independence with activities of daily living. You will have a strong commitment to working with people in a caring and rehabilitative way

You will be required to liaise closely with the occupational therapists and other health and social care professionals within the team and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; as well as the ability to plan, prioritise and delegate according to patient and service need. You will work well within a team and also be confident and competent to work autonomously.

There will be regular supervision, training, and support from highly skilled therapists to address learning needs and personal development.
