Main duties of the job

In conjunction with the physio and occupational therapist, you will assess patients referred for prehabilitation. You will ensure they meet their nutritional requirements, using a first food approach, but recommending prescribed nutritional supplements as required. You will also carry out group education sessions. You will need to liaise with your colleagues in the team, and also any dietitians who are involved in the patients care, either prior to the prehab referral, or following surgery/ treatment, in order to ensure seamless patient care. You will need to ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • BSc Nutrition and dietetics degree or equivalent
  • HCPC registered
  • Desirable criteria

  • Working towards MSc or evidence of research qualification
  • Experience
