Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Waking Night Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Bredbury, Stockport. Our service in Bredbury, Stockport provides quality care and support to six male residents aged 20-80 years with learning disabilities to grow their independence, maintain their homes and live every day to its fullest. No two days will be the same at this supported living service as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including gardening, listening to music, accessing the new sensory room within the service, going out for lunch and many more! We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting these vibrant individuals as part of our friendly staff team.

Your role will include:

  • Providing personal care, administering medication, manual handling and help with other domestic activities cooking and cleaning,
  • Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes,
  • Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest,
  • Full time hours hours per week) or part time available, with a willingness to work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
  • We are looking for candidates from all walks of life. No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

    Our service in Bredbury, Stockport has great transport links. It is close to Woodley shopping precinct with easy access by bus to Stockport and Ashton-Under-Lyne, the train station is also close by.
