About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Development Manager on a full time permanent basis.

This role is part of the RP Development team based in the West Midlands regional delivery team.

You will have responsibility for managing development schemes and ensuring risks are managed effectively through compliance with procedures and risk management processes.

You will ensure accurate business information is provided to key stakeholders including Homes England, Locality Teams, Finance and Sales; and identify risks to project delivery and assist in implementing offsetting strategies for the regional programme.

You will be required to regularly attend site to carry out inspections and attend meetings.

About you

It is essential that you are a highly knowledgeable residential development project manager ensuring procedures are fit for purpose and followed.

You will be required to have previous of experience of regeneration and housing development projects and have excellent knowledge of legislation and guidelines affecting the housing development process.

You are required to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills to solve problems and be willing to make decisions within delegated authorities and be capable of making informed recommendations to Directors and boards where their approval is required.
