Carmel Veterinary Centre is a 1st Opinion practice based in Wolverhampton who are looking to support a New Graduate Small Animal Vet. They have 4 Vets, 13 RVN’s, 1 SVN and 2 VCA’s across the two sites.

Normal hours will be 8:30am – 6.30/7pm, 4 days per week Monday to Friday. 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.30am to 2.00pm but opportunity to work more Saturdays allowing for a great work-life balance.

Carmel Veterinary Centre is a friendly and supportive practice with a wonderful team and great facilities and equipment such as Ultrasound scanners, X-rays, Endoscope and Bronchoscope, Burtons and Im3 high speed dental equipment, Capnograph, Multiparameter, pulse ox, blood pressure monitors, ECG, Idexx lab machines as well as wonderful wellbeing initiatives and communication both inside and outside the practice.

The New Graduate will be supported by having the Clinical Director as a mentor however, the other 3 Vets and all of the Nurses are onboard in providing whatever support is needed. They will be able to shadow and work alongside the current Vets until they feel confident enough to go it alone. They will receive regular feedback from the CD and our Nurse and Client Care Managers. The Graduate will be fully supported in the direction they want to take their career.
