Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person who will provide clerical support to the ward and wider unit when required. The post will be based at the North Wales Adolescent Service Unit based at Abergele Hospital, Abergele, LL22 8DP.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, good communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and be efficient and organised with their own workload. The candidate should also have keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Office Package.

A good telephone manner and communication skills are essential. The ability to speak Welsh isdesirable for this post. The post holder will be required to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Essential criteria

  • Able to demonstrate English and Mathematics to GCSE C Grade or equivalent level
  • RSA I or equivalent
  • NVQ II Admin/customer care or willing to achieve within two years.
