Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide administrative support for regional CAMHS services.

This will require the post holder to manage diaries resolving conflicting diary appointments, organise meetings, prepare meeting papers and take minutes of meetings. 

The postholder will source and provide information when required, to include report collation and analysis in line with local and national reporting mechanisms for the different service areas within CAMHS.

Working as part of the team the postholder will be the first point of contact for the team; this may extend to other internal and external stakeholders. The postholder will also receive and welcome visitors to the department.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • NVQ 3 in Administration/RSA III or equivalent level of knowledge/experience.
  • Knowledge of the NHS.
  • Desirable criteria

  • PRINCE II Foundation
  • Some knowledge and understanding of project methodology
  • ECDL
  • Experience

  • Significant office administration experience
  • Able to use own initiative and judgement to analyse and resolve problems.
  • Ability to support and deliver to deadlines on a wide range of administration processes.
  • Experience of communicating directly at all levels in an organisation.
