About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for Commercial Assistant to join our team to work in Coleshill.

Role Purpose:

Assisting the commercial and operational team to comply with all Commercial and administration processes and procedures whilst ensuring a successful project outcome.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in the timely preparation of Sub Contract valuations and preparation of Payment Notices. A
  • Assist with the production of Subcontract liabilities, 3 monthly cashflows & payment schedules taking the lead where appropriate (Time & Line Sub Contractors).
  • Assist in the prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes.
  • Verification of hours worked with Operational Leads for the time & Line Sub Contractors
  • Maintain and update commercial records as directed, with specific regard to information currently held within E-mails is uploaded to BC.
  • Assist with the Identification of any costs coded incorrectly and the associated work in transferring to the correct code.
  • Track the holiday booking system and update calendars.
  • Collating engineers reports and timesheets to assist service delivery
  • Assist with the communication flow (i.e. chasing signatories for CEs, Payments and the like).
  • Who we’re looking for

    Experience working as a Commercial Assistant on a construction or civil engineering project

    Obtained or working towards your BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
