Main duties of the job

A flexible approach to this post is essential to enable prioritising the different workloads and duties along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The post holder may at times be required to work within different departments to meet the demands of the service.

The successful candidate will ideally have;

* Good standard of general education

* Previous experience within an NHS environment

* Good computer skills

* Knowledge of Patient Administration systems.

Essential criteria

  • GCSES C and above in English and Maths or equivalent experience
  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent experience
  • IT qualification or equivalent level of experience using Microsoft packages
  • RSA/OCR Level 2 or equivalent experience
  • Desirable criteria

  • ECDL
  • AMSPAR-City & Guilds Level 3
