Main duties of the job

This key role requires excellent secretarial, communication and organisational skills. Together with providing day to day secretarial and administrative services including audio typing skills with medical terminology. Duties will include diary management, supporting meetings and email management. You will also need to have a flexible approach to work, having the ability to assess situations and prioritise incoming information. You will need to be able to work from your own initiative and as part of a team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

  • NVQ Business Administration L4 or equivalent experience OR AMSPAR L3 Diploma in Medical Administration or equivalent medical secretary experience
  • RSA/OCR Level 3 or equivalent experience or qualification in keyboard skills
