Main duties of the job

We have Community Health Care Support Worker vacancies in our Mental Health Team, based in Heddfan Wrexham. If you enjoy helping people and want to make a positive difference to their lives, this job could be perfect for you. Community Health Care Support Workers are at the absolute heart of what we do, delivering frontline care and support. Your work will involve working with elderly and vulnerable people who have mental health problems such as dementia and depression. Your role will include enabling people to stay living as independently as possible, to take part in activities in their local community and supporting them to maintain good mental and physical wellbeing.

We are looking for well-motivated, conscientious and friendly people who are willing to learn and to play a key role in improving the lives of the patients we work with. You will have contact with patients, relatives, other members of the public and professionals from partner organisations. You will work under the supervision of qualified Clinicians in the CMHT.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
