The Role:

We are looking for an experienced manager to join the Early Help service to lead on the development, implementation and management of a team of Family Support Workers to assess and support children with disabilities in Warrington.

The post will support the Early Help Service in the development of the accessible short breaks in both universal and targeted settings for children and young people with disabilities.

The role will include mapping current short break services available in Warrington and identifying gaps in provision. You will need to be a problem solver who can think creatively and cost effectively.

Applicants must:

  • You will need to be an excellent communicator and feel confident speaking to a wide range of audiences.
  • You will need to have experience of working with children with disabilities and their families and have an understanding and insight into how disability can impact on the whole family.

    DBS clearance is required.

    The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
