We are looking to recruit dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Healthcare Assistants who have a passion for delivering high quality care within a community setting. They will be working within the East Grinstead Primary Care Network (PCN) Community Team, based in Crawley Down.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for a career within healthcare, or an existing Band 3 Healthcare Assistant who wants to develop their clinical knowledge and practice within the community. Community and healthcare experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be given to develop the skills and knowledge required for this role such as insulin administration, wound care, completing observations, and venepuncture.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing health care, and support under the direction and supervision of registered staff to patients living in the community. This includes assisting in the delivery of interventions, treating and discharging patients and reporting all changes in patient status to senior staff. The role also involves providing administrative support to the community team.
