Finance Analyst / Specialist
Fixed Term Contract / Secondment for 18 months
The Practitioner and Counter Fraud Services unit of NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) is looking for a Finance Analyst / Specialist to join its Contractor Finance Team.
The post holder will be responsible for all analysis and subsequent payment on the newly announced MESH surgical Reimbursement scheme. The post holder will be required to verify the validity of claims against the scheme criteria alongside providing detailed analysis and reporting to the Scottish Government and National Finance Manager. In addition to this, the post holder will be required to carry out ad hoc analysis as directed by the National Finance Manager. The post holder will be self-motivated, numerate, and willing to take the initiative to design new solutions to complex problems and working processes. It is also crucial that they will be able to deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner.
They will be educated to degree level with significant experience of Microsoft Office applications specifically excel. They will also be skilled in financial modeling and analysis. Please see the person specification for more details on the required skills.
