As part of Benefits and Exchequer Services an opportunity has arisen for a high calibre, motivated and customer focused person, to join our Income Team to assist with Debt Recovery.

You will assist and co-ordinate accounts for further debt recovery action including working with external solicitors, debt collection agencies and the courts. You will be required to assist resolving customer queries, processing customer payments, making payment arrangements and monitoring accounts. You will be using a range of IT systems including SAP, Mosaic, Civica and Microsoft Office.

Reporting directly to the Income Team Leader, the post holder will assist a busy, team working in a challenging period whilst effectively delivering Benefits & Exchequer Services that are of the highest standards, cost effective and efficient.

The ability to deal courteously and effectively with both internal and external customers in writing and over the telephone and an ability to handle figures and other data quickly and accurately is essential.

Applicants should have:

· A good standard of education

· Excellent communication skills

· A good track record of working under pressure and achieving deadlines

Previous experience of working within a revenues debt recovery environment would be beneficial.

DBS clearance is required.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
