The RoleĀ 

We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate applicants to work in one of our Residential Children’s Homes in the Warrington area. This is a full time permanent position – 37 hours per week plus sleep-in as required.

The home provides care and accommodation for up to three children and young people at any one time. The purpose of the role is to support children/ young people to achieve outcomes as identified in their individual plans including promoting their personal, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual needs.Ā 

You will be required to work in a team alongside other residential support workers and other professionals involved in the child or young person’s life.

The post holder will: Ā 

  • Have the required skills to adopt a relationship based approach in line with our Systemic Practice model.
  • Be flexible in their approach and have the resilience and ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Possess a strong commitment to safeguarding children and young people.Ā 
  • Have a flexible approach to shift patterns and be available to work overnight sleep-in shifts, days, evening’s and weekends on a rota system.Ā 
  • There is a requirement to complete training relevant to the roleĀ 

    How To Apply

    DBS clearance is required.

    The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
