We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Senior Health Care Support Workers to join our team working on an acute inpatient ward, at Abbey House, Hallam Street Hospital. 

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping the multi-professional workforce deliver care and support to individuals with mental illness/mental health problems, and whom are in crisis. At Hallam Street Hospital we provide holistic care to our diverse population, supporting individuals with their activities of daily living, promoting healthy lifestyles, autonomy; and support people with social issues. We are looking for reliable candidates that have experience of working in mental health care settings, and who recognise and are able to demonstrate and uphold the NHS and Trust values of:

  • The successful candidates will need to be able to work shifts including weekends, days, and nights. 

    Main duties of the job

    Working on a ward for adults of working age that are experiencing mental illness and metal health problems. 

    Supporting healthcare staff with delivering care to these individuals.
