Warrington Borough Council is on a continuing journey to modernise the way we do business. Our Collaboration & Communication Programme is delivering new solutions based around Microsoft technologies such as Teams and SharePoint.
Outcomes will include new services for information sharing across the Council and with external partners, rolling out a complete new communication platform, migrating to cloud solutions and implementing a brand new intranet and brand new contact centre solution.
The programme is being led and delivered by an in-house team and we are looking for a motivated Change Analyst to join us.
The successful candidate will be working with stakeholders from all parts of the Council as well as some external solution providers. You will help to shape and manage the project plans plus other deliverables such status reports, risk and issue logs, etc. Key parts of the job will include contributing to programme communications and ensuring activities are coordinated and problems are identified quickly and resolved.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and communication skills. You should be pro-active and able to use your initiative.
We would particularly welcome applications from people with experience in any of the following:
– Experience in systems development and an IT background
– Experience in change management within organisations
– Knowledge of project management and methodologies such as PRINCE or AGILE
– Experience of working in local government.
