Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Rail Systems Assurance Manager to join our team to work in Birmingham.

Role Purpose:

Design assurance of the integration of high speed rail systems

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage change to high speed rail system requirements.
  • Lead and co-ordinate a coherent approach for high speed rail disciplines, and support the design delivery teams with technical understanding in, rail systems, earthing & bonding , electro-magnetic compatibility, design security, PRAM, ergonomics, CSM-RA , interoperability
  • Manage team members in high speed rail systems design integrity.
  • Manage contractual communications related to high speed rail systems
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Knowledge of rail systems.
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent and member of an appropriate institution.
  • Experience in management of a team.
  • Understanding of design management.
  • Understanding of CSM-RA and TSI.
  • Ability to use Common Data Environments and project Document Management Systems
