About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Utilities Site Agent to join our Tunnelling team to work on the HS2 North, across the West Midlands.

Role Purpose:

To provide supervision of the delivery of Multi-Utility diversions (water, gas, power, telecoms) across project wide sites ensuring safety, quality and environmental are being effectively managed.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage & supervise the utilities delivery framework partners ensuring all works utility works are being managed effectively
  • Liaise with fellow BBV Agents to ensure utility works are being integrated and managed ensuring decisions are made best for project
  • Co-ordinate and manage the interface with all Statutory Undertakers ensuring their requirements are met together with HS
  • Input into the monitoring and management of costs and performance for BBV utilities works
  • Responsible for Handover Documentation for utility diversions and lead Site Engineers in gathering and storing correctly
  • Manages sub-contractor performance based on KPIs
  • Ensures production of operational target programmes to reflect overall construction programme
  • Who we’re looking for

    Previous experience working at Site Agent level

    Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Compliance management

    Direct manage teams on site sub contractors and direct operatives.

    Key Qualifications/Training

    SMSTS

    NRSWA Supervisor

    NEC Contract aware

    Hands on utilities site experience
