The Role
The perfect position for a registered veterinary nurse looking to progress in surgical nursing! This includes a varied caseload including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, soft tissue and cardiac surgical intervention, allowing the chance to improve your anaesthesia and surgical skills. If your passion lies in one particular department, we can offer the opportunity to progress in doing what you love! This rewarding position includes working alongside a team of anaesthetists, whose passion for teaching veterinary nurses will include involvement in local blocks, arterial and jugular catheter placement. Competitive salary and the chance to develop new skills through the advanced nursing diploma, VTS and certificates.
Salary : Up to £31,500 depending on experience.

Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is a multidisciplinary referral centre currently undergoing extensive expansion and improvement of the facilities. The practice is located in the South of England close to the New Forest National Park and South Coast offering easy access to a multitude of outdoor activities. Applicant Requirements
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of surgical and anaesthesia nursing, protocols and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care within the surgery department.
