Job Description

About the role:
The community caretaker will be a visible and familiar face across our multi storey blocks within the city. You will strive to ensure our residents live well maintained, safe, clean and attractive communities. You will be customer focused and understand the importance of working in partnership to provide an excellent service to our residents. 

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

No formal qualifications are required, however, a knowledge of trades and/or previous building management experience is desirable

Responsibilities

The post holder is expected to, as a minimum, demonstrate skills and experience in:

Ability to work proactively and with limited direct supervision
Basic handyperson skills and experience of identifying maintenance and repairs required.
Competency and/or previous experience in the use of all tools/Cleaning service equipment and materials provided (training would be provided as necessary).
Ability to show understanding of people with vulnerabilities and deal with difficult situations in a calm manner.
Ability to use IT applications.
Manual handling and Working at Height processes.
Effective communication.
