What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • As a Sponsorship Sales Manager will be responsible for selling high value sponsorship and exhibition packages on the assigned events.
  • You will identify and capitalise on new opportunities to generate sales revenue consistently and deliver against monthly and events targets (hitting targets means more bonus, this must be a big motivator for you)
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of each event and to develop relationship with established players and start-ups on the given market segment (they have a tried and tested process ready to teach)
  • This is a fast moving busy role that will be ideal for a commercial individual, who thrives in a results focused environment
  • This role reports to Sales Director, you will be working alongside like-minded professionals, and an integral part of a high energy team, looking to continually improve results through a mix of high activity and initiative.
  • In the future there are line management opportunities, leadership team opportunities and increased earnings
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2/3 year’s experience in a sales role, ideally with B2B conferences sponsorship and exhibition packages
  • Proven history of thrashing and exceeding targets
  • Fast learner with the ability to understand different market dynamics
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Previous experience in selling into the Defence or Pharmaceutical sectors would be a bonus but not essential, they will teach you all you need to know
