The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Zetland Vets. The role will be sole charge at our Stoke Bishop branch and will involve anaesthesia, nurse consults and lab work.

The shift pattern is 5 days per week between 8:30am-5pm with 1:9 or 1:10 Saturdays which will be paid double time. No out of hours work.

The salary range for this role is £24,000-£27,000.

About Us

We are a large branch clinic in Bristol, close to the Downs and have the support of a large veterinary hospital located just ten minutes away. We have all the toys including an in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, separate dog and cat kennels and large consult rooms. Our clients are very dedicated and appreciate a high level of veterinary care.

About the Team and Culture

At the branch we have 2 dedicated vets and an animal care assistant alongside four receptionists. At our hospital we have a further 7 registered veterinary nurses and 2 student veterinary nurses, many of whom have further qualifications. Our hospital vets have certificates in small animal medicine, surgery, imaging and feline practice. We are a close-knit team and often socialise as a practice.

Applicant Requirements

We are a looking for a qualified registered veterinary nurse who is keen, enthusiastic and friendly. In addition to excellent clinical and communication skills, we would love a people-oriented person, who is willing to help support our vets. Further study is also encouraged if you have an area of interest.
