The Role
Here at Lawrence Veterinary Centre we are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to complement our dedicated team of Vets, Nurses, and Receptionists. You will have the opportunity to work up your own cases with the help and support of the team if needed.
The role will involve working 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. There will be 2 Saturday mornings in 8 weeks on a rota basis. There are no emergency out-of-hours shifts as this is covered by Vets Now.
About Us
Lawrence Veterinary Centre are a friendly, team-focused practice dedicated to delivering the best possible patient and client care. We have received additional outstanding awards in the RCVS practice standards scheme in both Client Care and Patient Consultation Service. We are entering an exciting period of growth and expansion at the practice with increased facilities coming soon. We pride ourselves on having a friendly team and when Covid-19 rules allow we will often go out together as a practice to socialise.
You would be joining an experienced team of 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 8 Receptionists, and an Animal Care Assistant. We are a busy well-equipped practice with an excellent array of equipment available for you to use and we have a certificate holder in Cardiology.

We are ideally looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who will take a keen and active role in the practice. We are looking for someone who is confident with surgical and medical cases but is looking to further develop their skills and interests. We would look to support and encourage the right candidate to further develop their surgical skills.
