Introduction

We’re currently looking to recruit an experienced HGV Recovery driver to assist in vehicle recovery and delivery. As an HGV Recovery driver, you will be required to operate a flatbed recovery vehicle to collect and deliver a range of vehicles to selected workshops and police stations.

NB – Role is working from Tuesday to Saturday – please only apply is suitable

The Job
Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for.

  • Provide prompt and professional recovery & delivery services.
  • Ensure that all vehicles are collected and delivered on time and are presented to the client in a presentable standard.
  • Participate in any training courses deemed necessary
  • Always observe company procedures regarding accidents and insurance claims and to report any such accidents.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Have good knowledge regarding Road Traffic Act and immediately notify the company of any pending endorsements or prosecutions against your licence.

    • The candidate
    Candidates will have the following skills and experience.

  • Hold a Full C+E Licence with no more than 3 points on it and no previous disqualifications from driving.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years HGV recovery driver experience.
  • Have previous experience operating a flatbed recovery truck.
  • Have a working understanding of Tachograph & Working time directives
  • Be in possession of a Driver qualification Card with 35 completed hours of CPC training
  • Be a excellent communicator with good organisation skills.
