About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Plant and equipment Administrator to join our team to work in Birmingham.

Role Purpose:

To participate on technical instructions, and provide support with preparing plant requisitions, manage data and create folders in databases to electronically store requisition copies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Close liaison with operations
  • Respond to technical study requests
  • Prepare plant requisitions
  • Facilitate plant requisition approval process
  • Manage data base for all plant requisitions
  • Create data base to monitor progress of requisitions and POs
  • Create, participate on technical instructions, as well as guidelines / compound lay out / innovative actions
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Supply chain / Procurement or similar experience
  • Customer focus/ communication
  • Knowledge of plant / asset hire industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all
  • levels across the organisation and externally
  • Computer skills – focused on Excel / Word / PowerPoint

    Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is responsible for designing and building part of the most exciting and challenging infrastructure project in Europe: HS2.

    We are building the West Midlands section of HS2s Phase One route, spanning approximately 90km from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
