CMDP, a Joint Venture between Costain and MWHT, have secured a further 5 years of work with Southern Water for their AMP7 programme of works (2020 to 2025).

Working predominantly in the East of Southern Water’s region, the scale of the works is likely to be greater than £350m and will comprise of multiple sites across Kent and Sussex on both clean and dirty water sites.

Due to the exponential growth of CMDP as we continue ramping up for AMP7 delivery, we have a great opportunity for a Project Administrator to join the team on an initial fixed term contract basis for 6-12 months. The Project Administrator would work to assist the entire delivery team to provide administration support as workloads increase, to support continuity of work and maintain best practice.

This role will be based from Chatham 3 days a week along with site visits as required.

Main Tasks:

Assist Project Team in daily administration functions and processes as required

Attend Project Team meetings and take meeting minutes

Take ownership of Project Team timesheets management

Collate monthly design costs and update project dashboards accordingly

Assist Commercial Team with monthly reporting duties

Assist Commercial Team with Sub-Contract Management End to End Process

Assist with Project Team management of planning monthly meetings and issue invites accordingly

Assist and maintain Project library, document control, filing, recording and reporting systems.

Assist with the Project Team by carrying out regular duties on the CMDP Contracts IT systems, including updates reports, downloads, communications and dashboards

Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Project Manager

Self-motivated and highly organised

Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines as appropriate throughout the month

Agility to work within a high pace team, that is constantly evolving

Enthusiastic about their work and genuine desire to help remove the blockers where they can so the Project Manager and the team can deliver to the best of their abilities
