Site Manager / Project Manager
Duration – 24 months
Location – Bedford
Rate – £450 – £550 per day
We are recruiting a Site Manager for a new build OCGT based in Bedford. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all construction actives including design for the Principal Contractor. The Site Manager will require an extensive understanding of Power Station construction, Commercial Management, Planning and Health & Safety.
Reporting to the Technical Director the Site Manager will be responsible for:
– All construction actives under CDM regulation (2015)
– Design coordination
– Commercial responsibilities associated with construction
– Stakeholder management of client, internal and subcontractor
– HSE responsibility
– Commissioning and handover
Experience of Power Station construction is essential, but specifically CCGT or OCGT wold be advantageous. A degree in an Engineering discipline would be ideal and the successful candidate must have evidential experience of working under CDM regulations.
