Protocol are currently recruiting with a long-standing provider of education for a temporary part time Learning CoachesĀ  in South London.

Having been around for over 100 years, this client has a wealth of experience and a strong reputation behind it. Recently merged with local institutes to form a successful college group, they have recently been graded by Ofsted as GOOD in June 2016.

Role responsibilities

  • Providing each learner with the support needed to carry out their learning effectively.
  • Implementing agreed individual programmes of support for learners to enable them to achieve qualification aims, develop independence, enhance progression opportunities and progress towards EHCP outcomes.
  • To provide outstanding support to all learners with social, emotional and mental health needs, a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition; and or ESOL, English and Maths support needs, to access their planned learning opportunities.
  • The person & qualifications

  • Experience supporting learners in an educationalĀ environment
  • Must have behaviour experience
  • Experience with SEMH or EBD is desirable
  • Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
